Although Isabel loves painting South African scenes, especially those of the Cape, her yearning for new experiences and a new awareness of the world around her always prevails. She is ceaselessly on the lookout for something new and exceptional, and for that reason she expands her horizons by travelling abroad. She visits different countries and immerses herself in novel experiences, all of which bring a new dimension to her work. She finds inspiration in the elementary but creates an involvement that is superlative, with her very own style and signature. |
